1. What is listening Skills?

Listening skills are skills that contribute to your ability to accurately receive information when communicating with others. These skills are an important part of effective communication in the workplace.

2. what is Hearing?

Hearing, or auditory perception, is the ability to perceive sounds through an organ, such as an ear, by detecting vibrations as periodic changes in the pressure of a surrounding medium. The academic field concerned with hearing is auditory science.
3. Define Listening Vs Hearing?

5. What are the Types of Listening?
1. Content Listening or Informative Listening:
Listen to understand the meaning of the message send by the Sender. i.e. Listening to Reports, Briefing, instructions, speeches and Conversation.

2. Empathetic Listening or therapeutic/ relationship listening: 

Listen to understand the feelings of the  Speaker and consultation. i.e. Friend consoling the other friend.

3. Appreciative Listening or listening for pleasure:

Listen to appreciate or enjoy the content like music or movie, melody, style or dialogue.

4. Analytical Listening

Listening to analyze the ideas being delivered. i.e. A Critic listen to the content.

5. Intensive Listening:

A deep listening of the content and try to compresence the deeper understanding of the content.

6. Extensive Listening

Listening to add additional Knowledge of the content. i.e. Dictionary.
