1.      What exactly is empathy?

 

Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of another person, experiencing their emotions and perspectives as if they were your own.

 

2.      How is empathy different from sympathy?

 

Empathy is different from sympathy in that empathy involves actually feeling what another person is feeling, whereas sympathy is recognizing and acknowledging someone's suffering or emotions without necessarily sharing those feelings.

 

3.      Do you think empathy is important for human beings? Why?

Yes, empathy is important for human beings because it promotes understanding, compassion, and connection with others. It fosters better relationships, reduces conflict, and enhances our ability to support and help one another.
