Publican:

Meaning: A person who owns or manages a pub or a place where alcoholic beverages are sold.

Example: The friendly publican served us drinks and snacks at the local pub.

 

Unobtrusively:

Meaning: In a way that does not attract attention or is inconspicuous.

Example: She slipped into the room unobtrusively, hoping not to disrupt the meeting.

 

Antique:

Meaning: A collectible item, often of historical or artistic value, that is at least 100 years old.

Example: The antique clock on the mantelpiece has been in the family for generations.

 

Undertaker:

Meaning: A person or business responsible for preparing and conducting funerals.

Example: The undertaker made all the necessary arrangements for the burial.

 

Urn:

Meaning: A container, often decorative, used for holding the ashes of a cremated person or for storing items like tea or coffee.

Example: The urn containing the ashes of our loved one was placed on the mantel.

 

Hearse:
