1. What are some of the qualities of Ilyas as an employer as depicted in the story?


As an employer, Ilyas is depicted as compassionate, understanding, and fair. He shows concern for his workers' well-being by providing them with shelter and food, and he treats them with respect and kindness.


2. What qualities of Ilyas as an employee do you find in the story?


As an employee, Ilyas demonstrates diligence, honesty, and a strong work ethic. He is committed to his job, works hard to provide for his family, and maintains integrity even in difficult circumstances.


3. What qualities are valued highly by Ilyás both as an employer and an employee?


The qualities valued highly by Ilyas as both an employer and an employee include compassion, honesty, integrity, and a sense of responsibility towards others. He values mutual respect, fairness, and the well-being of those around him, whether in his role as a boss or as a worker.

1. How do you think a person who has recently got a job feels about himself and the world?


Newly Employed Individual: This person is likely to feel a mix of excitement, nervousness, and perhaps even relief. They might feel a sense of accomplishment for securing the job, but also a pressure to prove themselves and meet expectations. Their perception of the world could be optimistic, seeing new opportunities and possibilities opening up.


2. How do you think a person who has just retired from a job thinks of himself and the world?


Retired Individual: After retiring from a job, a person might experience a range of emotions. They could feel a sense of freedom and accomplishment after years of hard work, but also a loss of identity and routine. Their worldview might shift towards reflecting on their life's work, finding meaning in new activities or relationships, and perhaps a sense of nostalgia for their career days.


3. How do you think a person who has lost his job feels about the job, the company

and the world?


Unemployed Individual: Losing a job can be a devastating experience, impacting one's self-esteem and confidence. This person may feel a sense of rejection or failure, especially if the job loss was unexpected or involuntary. Their perception of the job, the company, and the world might be tinged with bitterness, frustration, or fear, depending on their circumstances and support network.


4. How will a person who has had to dismiss an employee think about himself, his job and the world?


Manager who has dismissed an Employee: This individual might grapple with feelings of guilt, responsibility, and empathy towards the employee they had to let go. They could question their decision-making skills and leadership abilities, but also feel a sense of duty to the company and its success. Their worldview may become more nuanced, recognizing the complexities of managing people and the impact of their actions on others' lives.
