Kahavat (Proverbs)

1.      बूंद-बूंद से सागर भरता है।
Meaning: Every little effort counts.
Example: मेहनत से ही सफलता मिलेगी, बूंद-बूंद से सागर भरता है।

2.      एक चोर हमेशा एक चोर को पहचानता है।
Meaning: Like recognizes like.
Example: एक चोर हमेशा एक चोर को पहचानता है।

3.      सच्चाई की हमेशा जीत होती है।
Meaning: Truth always prevails.
Example: सच्चाई की हमेशा जीत होती है, ऐसा मुझे विश्वास है।

4.      जैसी करनी, वैसी भरनी।
Meaning: You reap what you sow.
Example: अगर तुम मेहनत करोगे, तो सफल भी होगे। जैसी करनी, वैसी भरनी।

5.      गिरगिट की तरह रंग बदलना।
Meaning: To change one's opinion or stance frequently.
Example: उसके विचार गिरगिट की तरह रंग बदलते हैं।

6.      अधजल गगरी छलकत जाए।
Meaning: Half knowledge is dangerous.
Example: अधजल गगरी छलकत जाए, इसलिए हमें पूरी जानकारी लेनी चाहिए।

7.      दूर का ढोल सुहावना।
Meaning: The grass is always greener on the other side.
Example: दूर का ढोल सुहावना लगता है, लेकिन वहां की सच्चाई अलग होती है।

8.      जिसकी लाठी, उसकी भैंस।
Meaning: Might is right.
Example: राजनीति में हमेशा यही चलता है, जिसकी लाठी, उसकी भैंस।

9.      आसमान से गिरकर, खजूर में अटकना।
Meaning: To fall from one trouble into another.
Example: नौकरी से निकाला गया, अब नए समस्या का सामना करना है, आसमान से गिरकर खजूर में अटकना।

10.  चोर से भले की उम्मीद नहीं।
Meaning: You can't expect good from a bad person.
Example: चोर से भले की उम्मीद नहीं की जा सकती।

11.  सांप गुजर गया, लेकिन लकड़ियाँ तोड़ दीं।
Meaning: Once the danger has passed, don't take unnecessary actions.
Example: अब वह समस्या खत्म हो गई, सांप गुजर गया, लेकिन लकड़ियाँ तोड़ने की जरूरत नहीं।

12.  बाहर का स्वाद अच्छा होता है।
Meaning: Outsider perspectives can be beneficial.
Example: बाहर का स्वाद अच्छा होता है, इसलिए हमें दूसरों की सलाह लेनी चाहिए।

13.  नाच न जाने आंगन टेढ़ा।
Meaning: Blaming circumstances for one's own shortcomings.
Example: उसने काम में गलती की और नाच न जाने आंगन टेढ़ा कहा।

14.  खुश रहना एक कला है।
Meaning: Staying happy is an art.
Example: जीवन में खुश रहना एक कला है, जिसे सीखना चाहिए।

15.  बचपन की बातें हमेशा याद रहती हैं।
Meaning: Childhood memories last forever.
Example: बचपन की बातें हमेशा याद रहती हैं, हमें उन्हें संजो कर रखना चाहिए।

16.  एकता में बल है।
Meaning: There is strength in unity.
Example: हमें मिलकर काम करना चाहिए; एकता में बल है।

17.  जिसका काम उसी को साजे।
Meaning: Each person should do their own work.
Example: दूसरों का काम करने से कोई फायदा नहीं, जिसका काम उसी को साजे।

18.  धन तो खो सकता है, लेकिन ज्ञान नहीं।
Meaning: Knowledge is eternal, while wealth can be lost.
Example: धन तो खो सकता है, लेकिन ज्ञान नहीं, इसलिए पढ़ाई पर ध्यान दो।

19.  समय से बड़ा कोई गुरु नहीं।
Meaning: Time is the greatest teacher.
Example: समय से बड़ा कोई गुरु नहीं है, वह सब कुछ सिखा देता है।

20.  जब तक सांसे चलती हैं, तब तक उम्मीद रहती है।
Meaning: As long as there is life, there is hope.
Example: हम कभी हार नहीं मानेंगे, जब तक सांसे चलती हैं, तब तक उम्मीद रहती है।

21.  दूर के ढोल सुहावने।
Meaning: Things seem better from a distance.
Example: हमें वहाँ जाने से पहले अपने फैसले पर विचार करना चाहिए, दूर के ढोल सुहावने होते हैं।

22.  खुश रहो और दूसरों को भी खुश रखो।
Meaning: Stay happy and spread happiness.
Example: खुश रहो और दूसरों को भी खुश रखो, यही जीवन का उद्देश्य है।

23.  हर किसी का अपना सफर है।
Meaning: Everyone has their own journey.
Example: हर किसी का अपना सफर है, हमें अपनी राह पर ध्यान देना चाहिए।

Example: जीवन में जो बोओगे, वही काटोगे, इसलिए अच्छे कर्म करो।

29.  सच्चाई का सामना करना ही पड़ता है।
Meaning: You must face the truth.
Example: किसी भी समस्या का समाधान सच्चाई का सामना करना ही है।

30.  आवाजें सुनाई देती हैं, लेकिन सच्चाई चुप रहती है।
Meaning: Truth often remains silent amidst noise.
Example: जब विवाद होता है, आवाजें सुनाई देती हैं, लेकिन सच्चाई चुप रहती है।

31.  असली सुख संतोष में है।
Meaning: True happiness lies in contentment.
Example: असली सुख संतोष में है, हमें ज्यादा की चाह नहीं करनी चाहिए।

32.  कठिनाइयाँ हमें मजबूत बनाती हैं।
Meaning: Difficulties make us stronger.
Example: जीवन की कठिनाइयाँ हमें मजबूत बनाती हैं।

33.  पानी का तो कोई भरोसा नहीं।
Meaning: Water is unpredictable, signifying that situations can change.
Example: पानी का तो कोई भरोसा नहीं, इसलिए तैयारी रखो।

34.  अच्छा सोचो, अच्छा करो।
Meaning: Think good, do good.
Example: जीवन में हमेशा अच्छा सोचो, अच्छा करो।

35.  जितना बिछाने का, उतना ही समेटने का।
Meaning: What you spread, you must gather back.
Example: जीवन में जितना बिछाने का, उतना ही समेटने का कौशल होना चाहिए।

  1. चाहे जितनी भी मेहनत करो, बिना साहस के कुछ नहीं होगा।
    Meaning: No matter how much effort you put in, nothing will happen without courage.
    Example:
    किसी भी कार्य में सफल होने के लिए साहस होना जरूरी है, चाहे जितनी भी मेहनत करो।
  2. सपने देखो, लेकिन मेहनत करो।
    Meaning: Dream, but also work hard for it.
    Example:

    Example:

    Meaning: Listen to the elders.
    Example:
    बुजुर्गों की बात सुनो, उनमें ज्ञान है।

    Meaning: Understand the importance of time.
    Example:
    समय का महत्व समझो, क्योंकि एक बार गया समय वापस नहीं आता।
  7. परिश्रम का फल मीठा होता है।

    Example:

  14. जितना समझोगे, उतना ही सफल होंगे।
    Meaning: The more you understand, the more successful you will be.
    Example:
    जीवन की सच्चाइयों को समझना जरूरी है, जितना समझोगे, उतना ही सफल होंगे।
  15. असली खुशी दूसरों की खुशी में है।

    Example:
