1.      अंगूठा चटकाना (Angutha chhatkana)
Meaning: To express annoyance.
Example: उसे जब पता चला कि वह नाकाम रहा, तो उसने अंगूठा चटकाया।

2.      बिल्ली के भाग्य से छींका टूटना (Billi ke bhagya se chhinka tootna)
Meaning: Good luck unexpectedly.
Example: उसे बिना मेहनत के काम मिल गया, यह बिल्ली के भाग्य से छींका टूटने जैसा है।

3.      आसमान से गिरे, खजूर में अटके (Aasman se gire, khajoor mein atke)
Meaning: To fall from one trouble into another.
Example: नौकरी छूटने के बाद वह अब और मुसीबत में है, आसमान से गिरे, खजूर में अटके।

4.      खुदा के लिए (Khuda ke liye)
Meaning: For God’s sake, please.
Example: खुदा के लिए थोड़ी मदद करो।

5.      दिल के हाथों मजबूर (Dil ke haathon majboor)
Meaning: To be helplessly in love.
Example: मैं दिल के हाथों मजबूर हूं, उसे भूल नहीं सकता।

6.      चोर की दाढ़ी में तिनका (Chor ki daadhi mein tinka)
Meaning: The guilty is always anxious.
Example: उसकी हरकतें बताती हैं कि चोर की दाढ़ी में तिनका है।

7.      आवाज़ उठाना (Aawaaz uthana)
Meaning: To raise a voice against injustice.
Example: हमें अन्याय के खिलाफ आवाज उठानी चाहिए।

8.      जंगल में मंगल (Jangal mein mangal)
Meaning: A happy, carefree situation.
Example: छुट्टियों में जाकर जंगल में मंगल कर लिया।

9.      आगे बढ़ना (Aage badhna)
Meaning: To progress.
Example: हमें हमेशा आगे बढ़ना चाहिए, पीछे नहीं देखना चाहिए।

10.  छाता खोलना (Chhata kholna)
Meaning: To cover up or protect oneself.
Example: वह हमेशा अपने पद का छाता खोलता है।

11.  गुमनामी में खो जाना (Gumnaami mein kho jana)
Meaning: To become unknown or forgotten.
Example: वह गुमनामी में खो गया है, कोई उसे नहीं जानता।

12.  खिचड़ी पकाना (Khichdi pakana)
Meaning: To create confusion.
Example: इस मामले में तुम खिचड़ी पकाने से बचो।

13.  आंधी-तूफान (Aandhi-toofaan)
Meaning: Storm or chaos.
Example: उस समय उनके रिश्ते में आंधी-तूफान चल रहा था।

14.  आगे का रास्ता साफ है (Aage ka raasta saaf hai)
Meaning: The way ahead is clear.
Example: अब हमें आगे का रास्ता साफ है, मेहनत करनी होगी।

15.  बड़े सपने देखना (Bade sapne dekhna)
Meaning: To have big aspirations.
Example: उसके बड़े सपने हैं, वह सफल होना चाहती है।

16.  भूतपूर्व (Bhootpoorv)
Meaning: Former or past.
Example: वह एक भूतपूर्व क्रिकेट खिलाड़ी है।

17.  कभी नहीं (Kabhi nahi)
Meaning: Never.
Example: मैं ऐसा कभी नहीं करूंगा।

18.  आगे से ही देखना (Aage se hi dekhna)
Meaning: To be cautious.
Example: आगे से ही देखना चाहिए, ऐसा नहीं होना चाहिए।
